What are the cut-off times for mutual fund transactions?

Mutual fund transactions have specific cut-off times that determine the applicable NAV (Net Asset Value) for your purchase or redemption.

These cut-off times vary based on the type of transaction and the fund category.
  1. Equity & Debt Funds: Investments made before 3:00 PM get the same day’s NAV if the investment amount is below ₹2 lakh and funds are received on time.
  2. Liquid & Overnight Funds: The cut-off time is 1:30 PM. Transactions before this time get the same day’s NAV.
  3. Redemptions & Switch-Outs: The cut-off time for all mutual funds is 3:00 PM. Requests placed before this time get the same day’s NAV.
If a transaction is made after the cut-off time, the next business day's NAV will apply.
